Pay Range: $21.17 - $28.52 per hour

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Implements all staffing policies. Maintains daily staffing schedules and functions to promote safe patient care. Works in conjunction with Nursing Administration to provide Registered Nurse (RN), Nursing Assistant (NA), and Unit Representative coverage. Enters all non-productive time in ADP system. Adjust staffing as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Successful completion of all orientation programs

Preferred:

  • Healthcare Experience
  • Scheduling Experience

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Shift- 10:00am-6:00pm
  • Monday-Friday with weekends and holidays
  • Part Time-Day

Essential Functions:

  • Reports to Director recruiting needs
  • Assists in training new staffing employees
  • Completes daily staffing reports and checks against schedule and printouts for accuracy
  • Documents all information pertinent to staffing
  • Executes all staffing policies in accordance with existing union contract
  • Gathers data, and assists in writing monthly interim reports
  • Interfaces with nursing management to achieve proper nurse to patient ratio
  • Maintains log of sick calls and personal days
  • Makes telephone calls for additional staff as needed
  • Reports to Director all problems/concerns regarding staffing
  • Schedules agency, overtime and per diem nurses/assistants according to need and budgetary guidelines
  • Visits nursing units and communicates with staff
