We are looking for a District Manager to support and grow relationships with automotive dealership partners within an assigned territory. In this role, you will act as a consultative partner—helping dealerships improve F&I performance, increase product penetration, strengthen processes, and drive long-term business growth.
What You'll DoDealer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for dealership partners within your territory
- Build strong relationships with dealership leadership, finance managers, and sales teams
- Develop retention and growth strategies to increase wallet share and overall performance
- Support dealership groups and larger accounts in partnership with other District Managers
F&I Performance & Training
- Deliver consultative guidance on F&I processes, sales performance, and dealership operations
- Conduct in-dealership training and coaching with finance and sales teams
- Demonstrate APCO’s F&I process and product offerings effectively
- Conduct performance reviews, competency testing, and follow-up coaching
- Support implementation and training initiatives related to APCO tools and programs
Business Growth & Strategy
- Conduct dealership opportunity analysis and develop action plans for improvement
- Present recommendations and business strategies to dealership executives and owners
- Monitor dealership performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Support development of new dealer relationships through networking and referrals
Operational Excellence
- Maintain activity tracking and reporting within HubSpot
- Ensure compliance with dealership, industry, and regulatory requirements
- Manage territory priorities effectively while meeting established KPIs and goals
You’ll be successful in this role if you’re a strong relationship builder who enjoys helping dealerships improve performance and drive results. You’re comfortable working consultatively, identifying opportunities, and influencing decision-makers at multiple levels.
You’re also highly self-motivated and thrive in a field-based environment where you can balance training, sales support, relationship management, and strategic growth initiatives.
Basic Qualifications- Experience in automotive finance management, sales management, or dealership operations
- Experience working in automotive F&I, vendor services, training, or related environments
- Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to manage a territory independently and travel regularly
- Experience in automotive training, advertising, banking, or vendor partnerships
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot
- Experience presenting to dealership leadership and ownership groups
