Compliance & Privacy Analyst:
The Compliance and Privacy Analyst will assist in the ongoing operations and maintenance of AnMed’s Compliance and Privacy Program. The position is responsible for regulatory research, policy and procedure development and maintenance, education and awareness initiatives, and monitoring of key compliance controls and support. The Compliance & Privacy Analyst supports the Chief Compliance Officer with investigations, developing reports and tracking compliance metrics.
Responsibilities Include:
• Track all compliance-related policies and procedures to ensure policies are reviewed and updated at least annually or more frequently as needed.
• Track completion of orientation, annual and Board Compliance training. Work with department Directors to ensure training is completed in a timely manner.
• Monitor and ensure that all covered persons and entities are screened against the HHS OIG List of Excluded Entities (LEIE) and other sanction databases, prior to engagement and monthly thereafter. Ensure all potential matches are investigated and resolved.
• Manage the Compliance Helpline to ensure that all calls are responded to in a timely manner.
• Ensure that concerns reported to the Compliance Office are appropriately logged within the required timeframe in the case management system.
• At the direction of the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer, conduct investigations of alleged violations of laws, rules and regulations, policies and procedures and the AnMed Code of Conduct, ensuring appropriate documentation of investigations in the case management system.
Assist with the development of Compliance reports and briefings for the Executive Compliance Committee and Finance and Compliance Committee meetings, as needed.
• Track compliance metrics and assist with the development of other necessary reports.
• Track and document completion of Compliance and Privacy Program priorities and assignments.
• Assist with Compliance and Privacy auditing and monitoring activities at the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer.
• At the direction of the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer, conduct investigations and breach risk assessment of privacy incidents, ensuring appropriate documentation of the investigation in the case management system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in business administration or healthcare related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year’s healthcare experience required.
- Compliance, legal or related consulting experience/certification preferred.
