ABW Technologies is looking for a helper. Helper duties include assisting shop personnel as directed by supervisor or production manager.

May include moving and positional materials at work site with help of other workers, packaging products for shipping; sweep, mop, and clean facilities, clean and/or paint plant equipment; may occasionally deliver or pick up deliveries in company vehicles; assist shop personnel in the manufacturing of products.

To be successful, the ideal candidate will need excellent teamwork, interpersonal, planning and organizing skills, following instructions and taking direction; accuracy and thoroughness, observes safety and security, punctual attendance and dependability, shows initiative and sound judgement.

Requires three to six months’ related experience and/or training or a one-year certificate from a college or technical school or an equivalent combination of education and experience; ability to read and comprehend basic instruction, intermediate math skills and ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.

Must be able to occasionally list and/or move up to 25 pounds and ability to perform duties with close vision and depth perception in a loud environment with exposure to moving mechanical part and fumes or airborne particles in a shop environment.
