SAP Procurement & Ariba Analyst at Fairfax Water – Fairfax, Virginia

The SAP Business Process Analyst III will deliver high-impact customer engagements across both functional and technical areas, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba. You will drive customer success and innovation in the procurement area. Known for effective troubleshooting, cross function collaboration, and driving continuous improvement under the supervision of the Supervisor, Business Systems Support.

• Configure and troubleshoot SAP MM, including material master, MRP, service entry sheets and goods receipts and invoices.
• Resolve cross-module integration issues (MM, FI/CO, SD, EAM/Plant Maintenance, Ariba, Customer Service)
• Build and validate Crystal Reports and enhance procurement dashboards
• Configure and support SAP Fiori apps for MM and Ariba
• Ensure all processes meet audit compliance and documentation standards
• Maintain material master data, supplier master data, contract repositories and inventory accuracy.
• Mentor team members and support governance frameworks.
• Document processes, workflows, and training materials
• Lead supplier onboarding, sourcing events and contract lifecycle activities in Ariba
• Support purchasing operations, including purchase order and purchase requisition creation, approvals and issue resolution
• Collaborate with developers, project managers and business stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA On Premise
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Ariba (SLP, Sourcing, Contracts) and SAP MM
• End-to-end business process expertise in S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay/Source-to-Pay, SAP Ariba, and SAP Fieldglass
• Strong functional knowledge of customizing, setup, and configuration Advanced Analytical and Technical Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities o Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, and ABAP
• Technical expertise in SAP systems, integration architecture, ABAP, and HANA Database Effective Communication and Stakeholder Management:
• Knowledge of Procurement; sourcing, contract management and supplier governance
• Process-driven mindset with a focus on compliance and operational excellence
• Proven ability to lead governance initiatives
• Excellent communication skills and ability to train and mentor teams
• Business fluency in written and spoken English

• Must be able to commute to the office 3 days a week. First 90 days of employment will be in the office 100%. This is non-negotiable.
