We are currently hiring a Compactor Maintenance Technician / Truck Leader to service supermarket locations throughout Northern & Central Florida and Coastal Georgia.

This is a field-based, independent route position ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working outdoors.

What You’ll Do

Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on compactors and related equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical issues in the field
Drive and maintain a company service truck and trailer
Travel to scheduled supermarket locations throughout the assigned territory
Complete service tickets and documentation using a smartphone/mobile app
Work independently while communicating with the operations team
Maintain safety and DOT compliance standards
Accurately track time, production, maintenance, and work orders
What We’re Looking For

Mechanical aptitude or maintenance experience
Experience towing a trailer behind a pickup truck preferred
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, stoop, and kneel
Strong time management and route planning skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Must pass:

DOT Physical
Drug Screen
Background Check
5-Year MVR Review
Federal Social Security Verification
Smartphone required for communication and work documentation
Must live within 25 miles of Gainesville, FL (truck parking location)
