Valto is seeking an HR Generalist to be based at our Headquarters in Channahon, IL. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role will support multiple functional groups—including Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, and R&D—while partnering closely with HR Managers across our facilities.
This position plays a critical role in driving consistent HR policies and practices, supporting key initiatives and projects, and helping translate HR strategy into day‑to‑day execution that promotes a positive and engaging workplace culture.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for recruitment, talent management, reporting, and process improvement. They will bring a proactive mindset, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a willingness to challenge the status quo to drive meaningful impact.
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.

What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a generalist role.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP highly preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Manufacturing experience highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution expertise.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
