Front Desk / Patient Communications Specialist

Location: Atlanta Fibroid Center – Smyrna, GA

Atlanta Fibroid Center is a nationally recognized leader in non-surgical treatment of uterine fibroids and other women’s health conditions. We are currently seeking a Front Desk / Patient Communications Specialist to serve as the welcoming face and voice of our practice.

This is a key administrative role responsible for scheduling, patient communication, check-in/out, and ensuring each patient receives a warm, helpful, and professional experience, whether in person, over the phone, or via text. The ideal candidate brings positivity, precision, and professionalism to every interaction and takes pride in supporting patients through an important step in their healthcare journey.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our office in Smyrna, GA.

What You’ll Do:

  • Greet patients with warmth and professionalism during check-in and check-out
  • Schedule appointments in accordance with practice protocols
  • Respond to incoming phone calls and messages with clarity, compassion, and timeliness
  • Make high volumes of outbound calls and follow-up outreach
  • Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
  • Coordinate with imaging centers and external providers as needed
  • Collect and post co-pays, co-insurance, and patient balances
  • Document patient interactions and communication accurately in our systems
  • Assist with medical records and other front office duties as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of front desk or administrative experience in a medical office
  • Experience in a specialty or procedural practice strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A warm, professional, and upbeat tone on the phone and in person
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow-through
  • Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management software (AdvancedMD a plus)
  • Spanish fluency a plus
