Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Accountant: • Prepare and review 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1041, 990 & 1040 returns. • Payroll Tax, Sales & Use Tax, Property Tax Returns. • Prepare Tax planning • Reconciling depreciation and shareholder basis issues • Some development of monthly & annual financial statements, including cash flow, income statements, and balance sheets. • perform research on and interpret complex accounting and tax topics to apply to clients. • Troubleshooting & overseeing accounts by reconciling journal entries • Some Client development and engagement – building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, and consulting Requirements of the Senior Tax Accountant: • Ultra-Tax Experience • QuickBooks Experience • CPA Preferred • 2-3-years Public accounting firm experience • Experience with multi-state individual and corporate tax preparation • Skilled multi-tasker that can handle numerous engagements at once while managing strict deadlines. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Benefits of the Senior Tax Accountant: • Medical Insurance • Dental Insurance • 401 (k) Profit Sharing
