Kanto Corporation is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician III for our high purity chemical manufacturing facility. The Facilities Maintenance Technician III works with other maintenance technicians and the engineering team to maintain, repair, and upgrade all plant equipment and facilities – machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe, and electrical systems. Ensures that the equipment and systems are working properly, reliably, and efficiently while adhering to Kanto’s Operating Priorities of Safety, Quality, and Productivity.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- AA as Electrical or Maintenance Technician or certification training from a college or technical school (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 10+ years of experience working as a facilities technician.
- Advanced pipe fitting and carpentry skills and /or electrical skills.
- Must have experience using basic hand and power tools and working with limited supervision.
- Must acquire or be certified as a Hazardous Materials Technician as per 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(iii), and wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirator, as required.
- Experience with ultrapure water and high purity chemical systems preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and read and interpret various documents.
- Strong mathematical skills and reasoning ability.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for long periods and work in industrial environments.
