The mission of CPLC's Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is to promote the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied alien children, and other eligible individuals and families, through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based services. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
You will oversee the safety of our residential housing facility and ensure the well-being of clients. This includes consistently implementing program procedures, managing data and documentation, and promoting a work environment focused on safety, professionalism, and collaboration. You will foster partnerships across departments to provide a full continuum of services that support our clients’ growth and stability.
WHO YOU ARE:
You are alert, dependable, and committed to protecting others. You thrive in fast-paced, people-focused environments and can exercise sound judgment in a variety of situations. Ideally, you are professional, approachable, and excel at teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of related work experience
- Preferred 3 years of experience in security or related fields
- Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance, CPR, CPI, and First Aid certifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, depending on population served
- Cleared background check and drug test results
- Training or experience in community outreach, public health, or social work preferred
