SUPERINTENDENT- COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION at MobileHRnow LLC – Reno, Nevada

Commercial Construction Superintendent needed! McCuen Construction, Inc. is seeking to fill a need for a Superintendent for our Commercial Construction projects in Nevada. Position Summary:

• Our Project Managers plan and oversee the building process of various construction projects from start to finish. Their duties include building and staying within the budget, retrieving the necessary permits to construct in certain communities and communicating the client’s goals for certain projects to the subcontractors and construction workers.

Preferred candidates will have the following:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising Commercial Construction

• Experience in working with the DSA and Public Works is mandatory
• Understanding of construction techniques, drawings and specifications
• Ability to plan, coordinate and supervise jobsite functions (scheduling, material control, equipment requirements, manpower requirements)
• Ability to maintain mutual respect with company employees, customers and subcontractors
• Ability to facilitate safety meetings and maintain a safe work environment
• Ability to inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship and materials conform to specifications
• Proficiency in the utilization of a PC, Office, MS Project or other, cell phone and email

Develop and maintain quality relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and owner

• Punctual, reliable, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule
• Self-motivated with positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Strong knowledge of excel, adobe, word perfect and outlook
• Strong communication skills written and verbal
• Proficiency in the utilization of a PC, Office, MS Project or other, cell phone and email
• Bachelor’s degree in construction science, construction management, engineering or architecture, or equivalent related experience

Perks and Comp - $55/hr plus benefits. Fulltime.
