Job Description
Copper Spectrum Events partners with respected nonprofit organizations to raise awareness and funds for programs that provide resources, and essential supplies to children in underserved communities. We bring these causes directly to the public through in-person events at high-traffic locations such as festivals, community centers, retail spaces, and pop-up booths.
Position OverviewAs a Sales Trainee, you will be the public face of our nonprofit partners, connecting directly with community members to inspire them to take action. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people, working in an active setting, and seeing their efforts make a direct impact.
Key ResponsibilitiesAttend scheduled events at various Houston-area locations, setting up and managing event displays.
Approach and engage event attendees to explain our mission and the work of our nonprofit partners.
Confidently communicate program details, answer questions, and address concerns from potential supporters.
Guide interested individuals through the donation or sign-up process, ensuring accuracy in all paperwork and digital forms.
Maintain accurate records of outreach results and financial contributions.
Collaborate with fellow team members to reach collective and individual engagement goals.
Assist with event tear-down, inventory tracking, and reporting at the end of each shift.
Hands-on Training: Learn effective public engagement techniques, nonprofit messaging, and event logistics.
Ongoing Mentorship: Work closely with experienced team leads who provide daily feedback and skill development.
Career Advancement: Clear pathways into team lead, event coordinator, and campaign management positions for high performers.
Most shifts take place at outdoor or semi-outdoor event locations.
Requires regular lifting of up to 25 lbs. (event materials and displays).

Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Consistent attendance and punctuality.
Preferred (Not Required):
Customer service, sales, or public-facing work experience.
Event or promotions experience.
Access to reliable transportation to event sites.
