Summary

The Medical Group Project Coordinator supports strategic initiatives across St. Clair Medical Group through project coordination, referral management, physician recruitment and onboarding support, physician programming initiatives, and operational analytics. The position works collaboratively with physician leaders, practice managers, hospital departments, and executive leadership to support organizational goals and improve operational performance. This role initially focuses on referral coordination and network integrity initiatives, with the expectation that responsibilities will expand to support broader medical group projects as programs mature.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.

1. Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in healthcare operations, project coordination, physician practice administration, recruitment support, analytics, or a related field.

1. Strong organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with exceptional attention to detail.

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

1. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, leaders, staff, and external stakeholders.

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

1. Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and present data to support operational decision-making.

1. Ability to learn and apply complex healthcare information, policies, and processes.

1. Ability to exercise sound judgment, work independently, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

1. Flexible, self-motivated, and committed to continuous learning and professional growth.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
2. Project management certification, such as PMP, CAPM, or Lean Six Sigma, or demonstrated experience applying project management methodologies.
3. Experience working in a physician practice, medical group, hospital, or integrated healthcare delivery system.
4. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools used to prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and project tracking materials.
