About the Role:

We are looking for a Mailroom Manager to join our team! This role will sit in NYC and report to the Sr. Director of Facilities. You would be required to come into the office 5 days a week.

You Will:
  • Oversee and provide remote support for NY and NJ mailroom operations.
  • Manage all incoming, outgoing, and interoffice mail, packages, and courier correspondence.
  • Coordinate the full mail lifecycle: handling, sorting, routing, logging, and delivery.
  • Perform administrative tasks including copying, faxing, scanning, and tracking shipments.
  • Maintain mailroom software and systems, including Send Suite and SAP invoice processing.
  • Manage copy-supply inventory and ensure the supply area remains organized and stocked.
  • Partner with Swiss Post to address staffing requirements and performance management.
  • Build, monitor, and manage the annual budget for mailroom operations.
  • Maintain accurate system records, including weekly employee list updates.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive problem-solving and service.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in a mailroom environment.
  • Experience working with mailroom and office equipment, including scanning, faxing, stamping, shipping, tracking, and photocopying.
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Some knowledge of metering, weighing, logging, and other shipping procedures preferred.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 20 lbs. and push a mail cart weighing more than 70 lbs.
