Personal Banker- Float in Traverse City, Michigan at State Savings Bank

A State Savings Bank Personal Banker exemplifies a “Yes, I can!” approach to customer service and is responsible for building customer relationships, and providing prompt and efficient service when handling transactions. A Personal Banker is expected to be available to work Monday through Saturday.

This is an in-person position in Traverse City, MI.

TASKS

· Perform all functions of CSR (Teller) and Sr. CSR.

· Skillfully recommend our products and services to customers.

· Open accounts for new and existing customers – consumer and business.

· Assist customers with online and mobile banking services.

· Assist customers with safe deposit boxes and maintain records for boxes.

· Assist customers with IRAs (Individual Retirement Account).

· Assist customers with CDs (Certificate of Deposit).

· Maintain customer records and files.

· Complete daily reports.

· Respond to ATM service calls under dual control.

· Answer telephones, file customer paperwork, and maintain proper supplies.

· Follow bank policies and procedures.

· Maintain professional, business-like appearance.

· Perform other tasks requested by supervisor related to daily operations of the bank.

REQUIREMENTS

· At least 18 years of age

· High school or higher education level or equivalent work experience

· Excellent customer service skills

· Strong communication skills

· Computer skills

· Cash-handling experience

· Ability to work well under pressure

· Accurate and well-organized

· Respond to customer problems or complaints with urgency
