Overview

Production Control drives construction through work paper and material and works hand in hand with Operations to complete submarine construction. In order to perform these functions, the successful candidate will be required to interface with Operations, Engineering, Design, Material Systems, Configuration Management, Quality and other support organizations at various levels of management.

They work closely with the MAST Team to ensure the proper material and quantities are received by the trades. This team works to control the amount of material brought into the building by the trades to alleviate storage issues and decrease the amount of material that is lost.
  • The Ship Check Team works closely with the Ship’s Planner team. They are a part of the Virtual and Physical ship check team. This team uses multiple business systems EWP, Team Center etc to virtually verify work order readiness (Virtual Ship Check).
