Capture Management, VP

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving end-to-end capture strategy for high-value business opportunities across government and commercial healthcare markets. The position plays a pivotal role in shaping and winning strategic contracts that directly support organizational growth and national impact. You will lead cross-functional teams through the full capture lifecycle, from opportunity qualification to proposal submission and award. The role requires deep expertise in competitive positioning, client engagement, and complex procurement environments. Operating in a fast-paced, mission-driven context, you will collaborate closely with senior executives, sales, and delivery teams. This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity for a strategic thinker who excels at building winning strategies and scaling capture excellence.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the full capture lifecycle for strategic opportunities, including qualification, strategy development, proposal execution, and contract win.
  • Develop and execute win strategies, competitive analyses, and tailored value propositions aligned with client needs and organizational strengths.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in partnership with sales and growth teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal executive leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development of compliant, compelling, and competitive proposals.
  • Track capture performance metrics, report outcomes to leadership, and continuously improve capture processes and outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, including regulatory and compliance standards such as HIPAA requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (minimum of 6 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree requirements).
  • At least 10 years of experience in business development, capture management, or related roles.
  • Strong background in healthcare market systems and at least 10 years of experience in healthcare-related environments.
  • Proven success in winning complex government contracts and navigating procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders from mid-level management to executive leadership.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience guiding cross-functional teams through complex pursuits.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, relationship-building, and project management capabilities.
  • Preferred: 15+ years of experience in Health and Human Services environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as required.
