The City of Minot is accepting applications for the position of Airport Facility Technician I at the Airport, with an application deadline of Thursday, June 25th, 2026. This position is open to all qualified internal and external applicants.
All applicants will be required to write the civil service exam for this position, scheduled for Tuesday, June 30th 2026 at 5:00 PM at City Hall- 3rd Floor Computer Training Room #315. (10 3rd Ave SW Minot ND 58701)
Nature of Work
This is manual and some semi-skilled work in the care, cleaning, and maintenance of Airport facilities and grounds. Must be available to work a flexible schedule that covers 7 days a week, 24 hours a day to include holidays. Please see attached Job Description for complete job details.
Education, Experience, Other Requirements
- Graduation from high school and experience in general maintenance work, construction discipline, or custodial, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- The preferred candidate would have experience working at an airport.
Compensation and Benefits
- The assigned salary range for this position under the 2026 City of Minot Annual Pay Plan is a Grade 46, which is $18.99 per hour- $28.19 per hour or $39,493-$58,627 annually.
- This is a full time, FLSA Non-Exempt position eligible for overtime.

Veterans Preference
