This role sits at the intersection of HR technology, payroll operations, and global people systems, focusing on the configuration and optimization of Workday modules that support core HR processes.
You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, scalable, and compliant system functionality across Payroll, Absence, and Core HCM environments.
The position involves translating business requirements into effective system configurations while supporting enhancements, integrations, and ongoing platform stability.
You will work closely with global HR, IT, and transformation teams to deliver reliable solutions that enable efficient people operations across the organization.

- Serve as a key analyst for Workday Payroll, Absence, and Core HCM modules, supporting configuration, maintenance, and system enhancements.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday system designs and configurations.
- Support end-to-end configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of payroll, absence, and HR core processes.
- Assist in payroll and HR integrations with external vendors such as tax authorities, benefits providers, and financial institutions.
- Coordinate and execute system testing, including UAT, regression testing, and validation of new releases or enhancements.
- Support Workday biannual release cycles, ensuring readiness for new features and updates.
- Develop documentation, user guides, and training materials for end users and stakeholders.
- Perform root cause analysis of system issues and contribute to timely resolution and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all configurations, changes, and documentation remain audit-ready and compliant with internal standards.
- Collaborate with global HR and People Platform teams to support scalable and repeatable system processes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; Workday certification is a plus.
- 3–4 years of experience working with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
- Strong understanding of Core HCM, Payroll, and Absence modules within Workday.
- Experience in system configuration, business process frameworks, and HR data management.
- Familiarity with payroll integrations, HR reporting, and security configuration principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical users.
