Job Description
We’re looking for detail-oriented Scheduling & Authorization Specialists who are dedicated to ensuring a seamless patient journey from referral to appointment. In this role, you’ll manage prior authorizations, schedule ancillary services, and support patients and clinical staff with clarity and professionalism. You’ll be a critical part of our revenue cycle and patient experience, working with multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate care coordination.
Key Responsibilities

Schedule ancillary services and ensure patients are informed for smooth exam preparation and throughput

Obtain insurance pre-authorizations and re-authorizations, ensuring compliance and documentation accuracy

Communicate effectively with patients, providers, specialists, and insurers, documenting all pertinent details

Collaborate with ancillary departments and Financial Services to optimize Revenue Cycle processes

Monitor and respond to insurance and referral policy changes, keeping teams informed

Perform departmental duties including surgical authorizations and support across clinical services

Navigate HIS and scheduling software effectively

Maintain timely and accurate communication with supervisors and colleagues

Qualifications

Knowledge of scheduling systems and healthcare information software

Familiarity with health insurance and authorization processes

Strong organizational and documentation skills

Effective English communication skills (spoken and written)

Ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team and independently
