Home Health/Hospice Clinical Nurse in Newport Beach, California at HUCKEYE HEALTH SERVICES LLC

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Clinical Nurse I –role provides direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act to assigned patients in the Home Health and/or Hospice setting. The nurse collaborates with other disciplines of the health care team to ensure the delivery of safe, timely and appropriate quality patient care. This includes providing physical assessments, IV, Infusion, nursing interventions, pain management, medication administrations, specimen collection, meeting nutritional needs, and teaching and discharge needs of the patients assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Home Health: Requires at a minimum of two (2) years of acute clinical nursing experience, clinical home health care experience is required.
-Hospice: Requires at a minimum of two (2) years of acute clinical nursing experience or home health experience.

- BLS- AHA License

-California RN License

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
-Hospice nursing experience is preferred.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
-Home Health: Completion of an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher education.
-Hospice: Completion of an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher education.

SCHEDULE: M - F 8:30 am to 5 pm Home Visits Required

13 week contract, renewable

COMPENSATION: $72.00 per hour
