POSITION SUMMARY
This position is a paid work study opportunity under the supervision of an innovator participating in the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE). The goal is to create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for an innovative software solution aimed at revolutionizing the recruitment process. The developer will be responsible for independently building and implementing a basic version of the platform, informed by customer discovery and market research.
This position offers Harrisburg University students practical, hands-on programming experience that enhances career opportunities and strengthens portfolios for graduate programs or future employment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Collaborate with the CIE innovator to design and implement a functional MVP of the software.
- Develop software independently, using a provided framework and specifications.
- Design algorithms and system architecture to support product goals.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Integrate essential software components and ensure interoperability.
- Debug, test, and maintain software to ensure functionality.
- Collect and interpret user feedback to refine the platform.
- Recommend and implement improvements to the MVP based on feedback and testing.
- Prepare clear technical documentation for future developers and stakeholders.
- Regularly update the supervisor on progress and challenges.
- Display a professional and positive attitude in the workplace.
