Senior Internal Communications Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Internal Communications Manager based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape how a globally distributed organization communicates, connects, and stays aligned.
You will serve as a trusted communications advisor to executives and senior leaders, translating strategy into clear and compelling messages.
As an individual contributor, you will own internal communications programs across a portfolio of stakeholders and business priorities.
You will help employees understand the context behind important decisions while reinforcing mission, culture, and organizational direction.
The role combines strategic communications, executive storytelling, change communications, and innovative AI-powered approaches.
You will also build scalable systems, measure communication effectiveness, and continuously improve how information reaches employees.

Accountabilities
  • Define and own internal communications strategies for a portfolio of senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on messaging, positioning, timing, and communication channels.
  • Partner directly with executives and senior leaders to develop clear, concise, and compelling communications that support business priorities and organizational change.
  • Ensure employees across a globally distributed workforce receive the information, context, and clarity they need to perform effectively.
  • Develop and improve scalable communication systems, workflows, and processes that enable consistent and efficient internal communications.
  • Identify and implement AI-powered approaches to content creation, personalization, audience analysis, measurement, and feedback loops while maintaining appropriate human oversight.
  • Measure the effectiveness of communications programs through data and employee insights, using findings to continuously improve messaging, reach, engagement, and impact.
  • Develop a strong understanding of organizational strategy, mission, culture, products, and priorities and translate them into meaningful employee communications.
  • Support company-wide and organizational live events by developing executive talking points, advising on event structure and flow, preparing speakers, and coordinating communications.
  • Collaborate with internal and external communications partners to coordinate proactive and reactive messaging and support internal issues management.
  • Build communication plans that balance speed, quality, relevance, and organizational context during periods of rapid change.
  • Establish best practices for modern internal communications and help define what effective communications looks like within an AI-driven organization.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in internal communications, external communications, corporate communications, journalism, media, or another writing-intensive discipline.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to communicate complex information clearly, concisely, and effectively.
  • Demonstrated executive presence and experience partnering directly with senior executives on high-impact communications initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, adapt communication styles to different audiences, and build trusted relationships across an organization.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve communications workflows, including drafting, research, audience analysis, content testing, personalization, or measurement.
  • Ability to use AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight and delivering high-quality, business-ready communications.
  • Experience communicating with highly distributed or remote workforces across multiple teams, functions, or geographies.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to roadmap initiatives, manage multiple priorities, and execute against tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, resilient, and adaptable approach, with the ability to remain composed and effective during periods of significant organizational change.
  • Ability to operate as both a strategist and hands-on executor, turning ideas into practical communications programs and deliverables.
  • Strong judgment and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance speed and quality and focus on the communications that matter most.
  • Enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, with a willingness to develop deeper subject-matter expertise.
