Busy general surgery practice seeks a motivated front desk receptionist. Duties include: answering a multi-line phone system, scheduling appointments, patient check-in and check-out, all while providing excellent customer service.

Candidates must be detail oriented, able to manage a multi-line phone system, comfortable in a fast-paced work environment, and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system
• Schedule patient appointments and manage doctors calendars
• Greet patients and visitors, including patient check-in and check-out
• Verify patient information and demographic data
• Manage medical records and documentation as needed
• Handle patient inquiries both in person and over the phone
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
• Support efficient front desk operations and assist office staff as needed
• Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
