We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Specialist to join our team in Oldsmar, FL. In this role, you will work closely with the R&D team to support the design, development, and manufacturing processes of our products. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Position Responsibilities
  • Product & Process Support: Support R&D activities involving product development, formulation work, and manufacturing processes. Work closely with formulators to develop products and prepare customer samples.

  • Laboratory & Inventory Management: Maintain detailed inventory records for laboratory materials and supplies. Ensure laboratory equipment, tools, and workspaces are clean, organized, and properly maintained.

  • Procurement Coordination: Coordinate with the Purchasing department to submit purchase requests (PRs) and track purchase orders (POs).

  • Process Analysis: Gather and analyze data to characterize current processes and quantify potential process improvements.

  • Troubleshooting & Testing: Troubleshoot and suggest creative solutions to design and process issues. Conduct experiments and tests to assess the performance of products.

  • Communication: Effectively communicate technical results and recommendations by summarizing data and communicating results clearly to the team.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills: Strong technical writing skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

  • Soft Skills: A flexible team player who is self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively part of a team.

  • Drive: Strong problem-solving skills and a dedication to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Details & Compensation
  • Job Type: Full-time Salary

  • Pay: $45,000 to $55,000

  • Expected Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday

  • Location: In-person (Oldsmar, FL 34677 — Reliable commute required)
