This role is focused on driving early-stage business growth by identifying, qualifying, and developing new client opportunities within the life sciences and clinical research space. The position plays a key part in building and expanding strategic relationships across a defined regional market, using data-driven insights and digital tools to optimize outreach and engagement. Working in a fast-paced, global environment, you will manage the full early sales cycle from lead generation to qualification and handover to senior sales teams. The role requires a strong blend of commercial mindset, analytical thinking, and customer engagement skills. It offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute directly to revenue growth and pipeline development. - Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities within the assigned regional customer segment.
- Manage early-stage sales activities from lead generation through qualification and opportunity triage.
- Leverage digital platforms, CRM tools, and AI-driven insights to optimize targeting and outreach strategies.
- Conduct market and account research to support customer-centric engagement and tailored sales approaches.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients to support long-term business development.
- Develop proposals, sales materials, and win themes in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, pipeline data, and client interactions in Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborate with regional business development, marketing, and account teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to generate leads and market awareness.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to continuously refine sales strategies and positioning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in business development, sales, commercial operations, or similar roles (preferably in healthcare, pharma, or CRO environments).
- Strong understanding of sales processes, lead qualification, and pipeline management.
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or equivalent platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong drive for results and execution.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and global environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Willingness to travel up to 10–30% for meetings, events, and training.
