Senior Director Analyst, AI Cybersecurity

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced cybersecurity and AI expert to shape strategic research and influence enterprise leaders navigating the evolving AI security landscape. In this highly visible role, you will provide actionable insights on AI governance, generative AI security, data protection, and emerging cybersecurity risks impacting modern organizations. You will engage with senior executives, deliver thought leadership, and contribute to industry-defining research that guides decision-making across global enterprises. Accountabilities:
  • Develop high-impact research, frameworks, and strategic guidance focused on AI cybersecurity, AI governance, and data protection.
  • Deliver compelling written analysis and actionable recommendations that help enterprise leaders address AI-related security and compliance challenges.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and trend analysis related to AI security technologies, governance frameworks, and emerging cyber threats.
  • Lead client engagements, workshops, presentations, and advisory discussions to help organizations refine cybersecurity and AI strategies.
  • Provide thought leadership at industry conferences, virtual events, and executive briefings on topics related to AI risk, governance, and cybersecurity innovation.
  • Collaborate with research and sales teams to support client engagement, business growth, and development of high-value research content.
  • Perform peer reviews of research deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and strategic relevance.
  • Contribute innovative perspectives and independent insights that influence future research agendas and market positioning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information risk management, data security, AI architecture, data science, or related enterprise technology fields.
  • Strong understanding of AI governance, cybersecurity controls for AI systems, and generative AI security challenges.
  • Experience evaluating security frameworks, standards, and technologies related to securing AI environments.
  • Proven ability to research, analyze, and communicate complex technical topics in a clear and business-focused manner.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills with experience producing executive-level content and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns, interpret market trends, and develop actionable conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within globally distributed and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements, conferences, and strategic meetings.
