This role plays a key part in driving financial clarity and business performance through detailed analysis, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration. You will support strategic decision-making by transforming financial data into actionable insights that guide planning and operational efficiency. Working closely with business leaders, you will contribute to monthly and quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-term financial planning. The position involves analyzing spend across multiple cost areas while identifying trends, variances, and improvement opportunities. You will collaborate with teams across accounting, procurement, IT, and marketing to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with business goals. This is a highly analytical and collaborative role in a fast-paced, data-driven environment where your work directly supports executive decision-making.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and long-range financial forecasting and annual planning processes in collaboration with business stakeholders
- Analyze financial performance across payroll, contractors, infrastructure, software, travel, and other operational expenses
- Prepare variance analyses and executive-level reporting to explain financial results and key business drivers
- Assist in headcount planning, cost management, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Procurement, IT, and Marketing to ensure data accuracy and financial alignment
- Monitor and report on spending trends, identifying risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization
- Contribute to financial reporting processes and support month-end close activities where needed
- Develop clear financial insights and presentations for leadership and non-financial stakeholders
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of financial data across systems and reports
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or financial planning roles
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and basic financial modeling
- Experience working with financial systems such as ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable business insights
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders
- Experience in SaaS or subscription-based business models is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce or financial planning platforms is an advantage
- Exposure to AI or analytics tools for reporting and productivity is a plus
