Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Position Summary
The Outreach Mobilization Specialist helps advance EFCC's mission and vision through
planning and executing outreach events, mobilizing and supporting volunteers, crafting
and telling outreach stories, and managing communications with partners.
Key Responsibilities
Events and Projects
? Assist in planning, coordinating, and hosting outreach events in the community
and on campus.
? Manage outreach projects and initiatives as assigned.
? Manage purchasing, event supplies, transportation, and other logistics for
outreach events and ministries.
Volunteer Development
? Equip and support volunteer team leaders for Outreach ministries and projects.
? Assist with onboarding new volunteers and volunteer follow-up.
? Coordinate and support the global care, hospitality, and housing teams.
? Facilitate on-campus meetings for volunteer ministry teams and external outreach
partners.
? Facilitate volunteer training, rallies, and appreciation.
Storytelling
? Identify, edit/write, and publish stories that maximize engagement with our local
and global partners.
? Develop and create social media content, including written posts, graphics, and
videos.
? Develop and coordinate a volunteer team of outreach storytellers.
? Write and design compelling updates and promotional materials for outreach
opportunities.
? Manage updates from partners and ministry team leaders. Maintain the database
and distribution lists.
Office & Administrative
? Manage external and internal communication and tracking of annual partner
reviews, reporting forms, meeting minutes, MOUs, and project reports from
partners.
? Prepare and track agendas, minutes, and reports.
? Track payments, problem-solve financial inquiries, and prepare reports for
outreach teams.
? Assist with mission teams' logistics and support.
? Manage the reservation system and housing for global partners.

- Excellent written, oral, and digital communication skills.
- Experience in recruitment and working with diverse volunteer populations.
- Able to manage projects independently.
- Administrative and coordination skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Select which physical movements are required on the job and how

- Sitting and standing: The ability to remain in a stationary position for a majority of the workday is a common requirement. Occasional standing and walking to move around the office is also standard.
- Fine motor skills: Many office jobs require the use of hands for fine manipulation, such as typing on a keyboard, handling small objects, or using a computer mouse.
- Vision: Good close-up vision is necessary for activities like reading documents, reviewing data, and using a computer screen for extended periods.
- Hearing and speech: The ability to communicate clearly and listen to information, both in person and over the phone, is essential.
- Lifting and carrying: While heavy lifting is rare, some positions may require occasionally lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Other movements: Tasks like reaching, bending, and stooping to access files or other objects may be required occasionally.
