Job Description
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Special Event Staff member to join our team in our Community Relations and Development Department! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with a philanthropy division dedicated to Citizens Memorial Hospital and the enrichment of the communities we serve. Generous donors help Citizens Memorial advance the health and wellness needs of the communities we serve by financially supporting programs, services, health care scholarships and capital equipment needs of Citizens Memorial Hospital and facilities managed by the Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation.
A typical day will include: Assisting the Director of Community Relations & Development with community & fundraising events;
- Conducting health screening events in schools & communities.
- Preparing for events by loading and unloading equipment and supplies and providing set-up for each event; checking equipment and restocking supplies.
- Working with students, volunteers, school nurses, teachers, and community members at events.
- Promoting the mission, vision, values and services of CMH at community events.
Job Requirements:
- Education: HS diploma or equivalent
- Experience: N/A
- Skills: organization, able to work in fast-paced environment, multitasking
- Licensure/Certification: N/A
- Physical: ability to work standing and moving the majority of the event
