As a Director, Partner Development & Strategy, you will lead the creation and expansion of a high-impact partner ecosystem designed to accelerate business growth and customer value. This strategic leadership role combines external relationship management, internal alignment, and go-to-market execution to build partnerships that generate measurable results. You will collaborate closely with sales, product, engineering, and executive teams to transform partner opportunities into successful business outcomes. - Lead the development, optimization, and growth of a strategic partner ecosystem by evaluating existing relationships, identifying opportunities, and establishing clear partnership models that drive measurable business value.
- Audit and rationalize the current partner portfolio by assessing performance, engagement levels, strategic alignment, and long-term potential while improving partner management processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, technology partners, and strategic alliances, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring successful collaboration.
- Design and implement partner programs, including referral models, co-marketing initiatives, enablement programs, certification processes, and incentive structures that support scalable growth.
- Develop joint go-to-market strategies with partners, including pipeline generation, co-selling motions, and shared accountability for revenue outcomes.
- Act as a cross-functional leader between partners and internal teams, ensuring successful execution of integration projects, product commitments, and partnership initiatives.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to evaluate technology partnerships, integration opportunities, and solutions that enhance product capabilities and customer value.
- Manage relationships with communication infrastructure and technology platform partners, ensuring compatibility, certifications, API access, and alignment with product development priorities.
- Partner with sales leadership to increase adoption of partner-driven opportunities, address channel concerns, improve co-selling effectiveness, and demonstrate partnership impact through measurable results.
- Provide executive-level reporting on ecosystem performance, partner health, pipeline contribution, market insights, and strategic opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 8–12+ years of experience in partner development, strategic alliances, business development, or ecosystem management within healthcare IT, SaaS, enterprise software, or related technology industries.
- Proven track record of building and scaling partner ecosystems that generate measurable revenue impact beyond signed agreements.
- Experience managing both channel partnerships, such as resellers, referral partners, and alliances, as well as technology partnerships involving integrations, OEM relationships, or ISV ecosystems.
- Demonstrated experience working with communication infrastructure, unified communications, contact center platforms, CTI solutions, or related enterprise technology vendors.
- Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and executive teams to deliver partnership commitments.
- Experience building sales trust and enabling effective co-selling strategies that create value for commercial teams.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating in a high-visibility executive environment with ownership of strategic initiatives and measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to evaluate opportunities, manage priorities, and influence decision-making.
- Competitive base salary of $180,000 – $195,000, plus incentive compensation.
