About the role
INcare LLC is seeking professional, dependable, and safety-focused drivers to join our transportation team. Our drivers provide essential non-emergency medical transportation to seniors, veterans, and individuals with mobility challenges. This role requires excellent customer service, careful attention to safety and compliance, and the ability to represent INcare with professionalism at all times.

What you'll do
- Safely transport ambulatory and wheelchair-bound clients to medical appointments, treatments, and other approved destinations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting findings and reporting issues immediately.
- Operate wheelchair lifts/ramps and secure mobility devices according to ADA and company standards.
- Maintain strict adherence to all safety, compliance, and HIPAA/privacy requirements.
- Monitor and follow trip schedules as assigned by dispatch; communicate delays, concerns, or incidents promptly.
- Provide respectful, patient, and professional assistance to every client, including door-to-door or hand-to-hand service as required.
- Keep assigned vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Use company technology (GPS, dispatch software, telematics) to verify routes, log trips, and record required data.
- Follow all company policies, including rules regarding distracted driving, client interaction, and uniform standards.
- Represent INcare’s reputation for reliability, empathy, and excellence in every client encounter.
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- At least 2 years of professional driving with a valid drivers license
- Must have less than 4 points on your driving record
- Must be able to alternate between shifts
- Must be flexible with working times
- Must be willing to work more than 40 hours per week
- Must be able to be on-call for at least 1 week per month
- Must be flexible enough to be called in to support ad-hoc trips
- Must be able to speak and communicate in English
- Must be able to provide customer/client service on the go
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle checks.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and secure mobility devices (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and driving long distances when needed.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Tidiness and cleanliness is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in NEMT, EMS, caregiving, paratransit, or related transportation fields.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience using dispatch or routing software.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
