Job Summary:

JSX does not just move passengers from point A to point B, our customers get where they want to be effortlessly, and refreshed. Operations Services Concierge's(OSC) are responsible for marshalling aircraft in and out of the gate, loading, unloading and sorting freight, mail and baggage in a safe manner while also achieving on-time departures and arrivals. OSC's may also be responsible for servicing aircraft lavatories, cleaning aircraft, restocking items, deicing and other duties as delegated. The OSC team owns the ground experience at the airport, including valet, luggage assistance, & plane-side service. OSCs must have a never ending hunger to build a consistent, safe and joyful experience for each and every customer.

Responsibilities/Day in the Life Tasks:

  • Develop relationships with our customers to serve from the heart, anticipate their needs to provide a personalized experience unlike any other travel explugerience.
  • Ensure each customer is able to experience a flawless trip the concierge team must execute clear communication with the downline stations and flight crews in a timely manner.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to play well with others and must be willing to receive and offer directions to team members with grace.
  • The concierge team must be JSX brand ambassadors at all times when working, be it face to face with customers or when call taking by efficiently and professionally assisting our customers via phone calls or emails.
  • To ensure our customers have an effortless and seamless experience we must ensure the amenities and space for our customers is in tip top shape
  • Marshall/direct aircraft to/from gate(s) or other designated areas
  • Load/unload and transport baggage, mail, and other designated cargo
  • Assist in cleaning customer lounges and aircraft cabin between flights
  • Stock aircraft with needed supplies and prepare stock for inbound/outbound aircraft
  • Safe operation of equipment required to move luggage/cargo, tow planes between gates and direct aircraft to designated parking apushreas
  • Performs wing walker duties to protect the aircraft wing from equipment in the path of pushback and maintains visual contact with the pushback driver to alert the driver of any danger.
  • Maintains safety and security of the ramp at all times and complies with safety procedures and station policies.
  • Reads and verifies the city and flight number for every bag to ensure correct loading of customer bags
  • Act as Ground Security Coordinator
  • Responsible for driving, parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner and assisting guests in and out of their vehicle during arrival and departure, as assigned

Required:

Experience-

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years Customer Service

Licenses & Certifications-

  • Must possess a valid Drivers License for operating ground support equipment and customer vehicles

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities-

  • Remain professional, logical and level headed in all situations especially stressful situations.
  • Vigilant and aware of surroundings and circumstances and be present in the moment to recognize and act upon anything unsafe.
  • Timeline focused with a high degree of calm urgency.
  • Arrives to work on time and at assigned post to ensure prompt servicing of the aircraft and on time departures
  • Articulate and polished both verbally and visually.
  • Knowledge of computer systems such as google business, Microsoft Office
  • Computer Savvy

Preferred:

Experience-

  • 4 year college degree
  • 2 years Aviation or Airline/Airport operation experience
  • Travel industry experience
  • Customer Service experience working with high end clients
  • 2 years Ramp experience

Licenses & Certifications-

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities-

Basic Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, lifting, climbing stairs and prolonged periods of standing in addition to walking long distances
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Participate in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with DOT and FAA guidelines
  • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors for an extended amount of time during cold/wet or hot conditions
  • Must have and maintain a valid US drivers license and clean driving record
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking
  • May be required to perform duties at other JSX locations
  • In compliance with federal aviation security requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals.

Starting Compensation:

$19.00
