Role Overview

JM Fab is seeking a CNC Operator to run CNC machining equipment producing precision aerospace and defense components to drawing and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load material, run proven CNC programs, and unload finished parts.
• Perform in-process checks at the machine using calipers, micrometers, and gauges per the inspection plan.
• Make authorized offset adjustments and escalate issues to the setup machinist or lead.
• Change worn tools and keep the machine clean and maintained.
• Complete travelers and in-process inspection records accurately.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming parts per procedure.
• Follow shop safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ year operating CNC mills or lathes in a production machine shop (preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints and basic GD&T.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Setup experience or familiarity with Haas, Mazak, or Fanuc controls (preferred).

Physical Requirements

Stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs; perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
