Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated, customer-focused IT Helpdesk Technician with 2 to 4 years of hands-on technical support experience to manage daily IT operations across our four Texas locations. Operating in a full Microsoft ecosystem, this position provides direct, high-touch support to over 200 internal users.
This is an ideal role for an ambitious support specialist who thrives on solving real-world technical problems, taking ownership of user experiences, and maintaining consistent operational processes. If you are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity (3+ years) where you can act as the core frontline support engine for a growing company, this position is built for you.
What You Will Do
- End-User & Systems Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal hardware, software, user account, and network connectivity issues across local and remote offices.
- Microsoft Environment Administration: Manage accounts, access permissions, and basic configurations within Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Dynamics/ERP environments.
- Workstation & Hardware Management: Build, deploy, and maintain standardized PC images. Provision and manage hardware for new hire onboarding, offboarding, and routine equipment refreshes.
- Peripherals & AV Setup: Maintain and troubleshoot typical office equipment (printers, scanners, multi-function devices) and manage audio/video setups for conference rooms, presentations, and corporate meetings.
- Infrastructure Support: Handle basic network cabling (low-voltage runs/patching), assist with disaster recovery maintenance procedures, and support cloud-hybrid infrastructure under the direction of the Director of IT.
- Operational Continuity: Maintain defined processes, follow documentation standards, and manage time independently to resolve issues efficiently. Infrequent overnight travel to office sites in Austin and San Antonio will be required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience Level: 2–4 years of active end-user and enterprise technical support experience.
- Microsoft Ecosystem Proficiency: Demonstrated experience navigating and supporting Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Azure AD, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Customer-First Mindset: Prior work history demonstrating strong communication skills, empathy, and patience when supporting non-technical staff.
- Workplace Presence: Ability to work 100% in-office and maintain consistent attendance.
- Self-Direction: Strong organizational skills and the ability to operate effectively with minimal daily supervision.
- Travel Flexibility: Ability to perform occasional, scheduled overnight travel to regional offices (Austin / San Antonio).
- Legal Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Organization: Strong ability to maintain and update department documentation, tickets and operational guides.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Experience supporting cloud-hybrid enterprise systems, ERP systems, or CRM platforms (such as Microsoft Dynamics).
- Hands-on familiarity with basic low-voltage cabling, server rack patching, and physical network setups.
- Relevant technical education, Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree, or certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals).
What We Offer
- Annual bonuses and competitive annual raises
- Paid Time Off: 2 weeks of paid vacation in your first year.
- Health Coverage: Company-sponsored health insurance plan.
- Retirement: 401(k) program with company matching after one year of employment.
- Stability: A direct, long-term career path within a stable, growing regional organization.
