You will play a key part in designing and implementing distributed data architectures that enable large-scale data processing and democratization across the organization. The position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust, cloud-native data solutions. You will contribute to building reusable and high-quality data components such as pipelines, APIs, and frameworks that support analytics and decision-making. - Participate in understanding business requirements and translating them into scalable and reliable data solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Design data architectures and evaluate the best technologies to solve complex data engineering challenges.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines within a Data Mesh-oriented architecture, enabling data democratization across domains.
- Build reusable components such as connectors, APIs, SDKs, and CLIs to support data platform scalability and efficiency.
- Implement automated testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices across data workflows.
- Iterate on solutions based on user feedback, ensuring performance, reliability, and usability of data products.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive innovation, quality, and best practices in the data ecosystem.
- Strong experience with large-scale, distributed data processing (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, or similar technologies).
- Hands-on experience with AWS Data & Analytics services (Glue, EMR, Athena, QuickSight).
- Advanced programming skills in Python for data engineering and automation tasks.
- Solid knowledge of AWS cloud services such as S3, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
- Strong experience with relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases (document and key-value models).
- Practical experience with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CodePipeline, or equivalent tools).
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.
