This role is focused on supporting and evolving robust data architecture environments within mission-critical systems. You will act as a key contributor in database administration activities while collaborating closely with data administration, software architecture, and DevOps teams. The position involves supporting development and testing teams, ensuring database stability, performance, and scalability across complex, high-volume environments. You will also interact frequently with external clients, requiring strong communication skills and adaptability. The role combines hands-on Oracle DBA expertise with exposure to data modeling, BI ecosystems, and enterprise data practices. Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and evolution of Oracle database environments within complex and mission-critical systems. You will collaborate across technical teams and stakeholders to support development, operations, and data architecture initiatives.

  • Administer and support Oracle databases in mission-critical environments
  • Perform routine database maintenance activities such as backup, restore, patching, upgrades, and migrations
  • Support development and testing teams with database-related needs across projects
  • Collaborate with data architecture, DevOps, and data administration teams
  • Ensure performance tuning and optimization of database environments
  • Manage versioning and lifecycle of database artifacts
  • Apply best practices in relational and multidimensional data modeling
  • Contribute to BI, ETL, and Data Warehouse-related initiatives
  • Interact with external clients and ensure clear communication of technical solutions
  • Support data security, integrity, and availability across environments
Requirements

This position requires solid experience in Oracle database administration and exposure to complex, high-volume data environments. The ideal candidate is collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple technical domains and stakeholders.

  • Proven experience as an Oracle DBA or Data Architect in enterprise environments
  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience managing databases in mission-critical, high-availability environments
  • Strong knowledge of backup, recovery, migration, and database maintenance processes
  • Experience with relational and multidimensional data modeling best practices
  • Familiarity with BI tools, ETL processes, and Data Warehouse environments
  • Knowledge of database performance analysis and tuning
  • Experience with data masking tools and CASE tools (desirable)
  • Familiarity with ITIL change management processes
  • Exposure to SQL Server and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus
  • Understanding of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and Oracle certifications are a plus
  • Intermediate English level desirable
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and quality focus
