PositionSummary:
The Advisor, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is a key member of the Billing, Pricing and Strategic Reimbursement team, reporting directly to the SVP, Revenue Cycle Management. This role serves as an analytical and strategic business partner, supporting the RCM team through robust reporting, RCM forecasting, data-driven insights and project management. The Advisor, RCM Analyst plays a critical role in monthly reporting, forecasting, and advancing the use of technology and AI to drive critical data insights across teams. This individual collaborates closely with the Strategic Reimbursement team, Billing team, Medical team, Commercial team and Lab Operations team, driving reimbursement project execution through cross-functional partnerships.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Support RCM team during monthly close process with actual RCM results in a timely and accurate manner
  • Forecast future RCM impact by month per FP&A calendar
  • Support monthly variance reviews by analyzing key drivers of RCM impact on overall company financial, which includes tracking project execution versus AOP and tying back impact to financial statements; communicate findings to Finance leadership
  • Partner with Strategic Reimbursement, Billing and Managed Care leadership to drive cross-functional project execution that will deliver forecasted financial benefits
  • Work closely with leadership to understand project deliverables then establish cross-functional teams for execution of projects
  • Complete business cases when needed to support incremental funding needed to deliver on projects
  • Champion and further advance the adoption of artificial intelligence and automation tools within the RCM team
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI-driven solutions to identify RCM initiatives to increase financial benefits to the company
  • Design and develop executive dashboards to provide visibility into key RCM metrics, driving data-informed decision-making for the executive team
  • Partner with FP&A team to deliver the RCM contribution to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and ongoing Forecast (FCST) processes, including data gathering and insights
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis, data pulls, and business case support as needed to respond to requests from Finance leadership, Senior leadership, or cross-functional business partners
Experience,Educationand Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting or Commercial Finance, with exposure to revenue analytics, forecasting, or sales finance strongly preferred
  • Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, modeling, and data manipulation)
  • Experience with Tableau or similar BI/data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with EPM systems (e.g., Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan, OneStream) for forecast loading and reporting
  • Exposure to or strong interest in AI tools, automation, and process improvement within a finance context
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative approach to team and cross-functional work
