Mustang Freightways is currently hiring a Fleet & Maintenance Coordinator for our Acheson Terminal ideal candidate must be available to work Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm.

Position Overview
The Fleet & Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for fleet related maintenance including monitoring DVIR’s and service intervals for all forklifts, trucks, and trailers at the Acheson Terminal. And coordinate repairs and maintenance with local vendors while monitoring costs and ensuring equipment meets the terminals operational needs.
The Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for;
- Assist with arranging truck, trailer, and forklift repairs with local vendors in Acheson,
- Monitoring DVIR’s,
- Monitoring CVI’s in Acheson,
- Maintaining truck and shop supplies such as oil, cleaning supplies, etc.
- Updating service interval sheets,
- Prioritizing repairs,
- On site repair and maintenance of minor defects of vehicles and trailers,
- On site repair of minor defects on forklifts
- Responding to City P&D break downs,
- Responding to after hour calls from time to time,
- Snow removal in the yard,
- Investigate service issues; reviewing Samsara and cameras as needed,
- Assisting with safety and compliance as assigned by the Safety Manager,
- Reviewing deck loads for load securement compliance,
- Dock and yard checks for compliance,
- And other duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have;
- Class 1 driver’s license required,
- Previous experience handling repairs and maintenance of fleet equipment,
- Transportation industry knowledge and experience,
- Intermediate computer skills,
- Able to manage people tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times,
- Able to work under pressure,
- Flexible and adaptable to change,
- Strong attention to detail,
- Very organized with excellent multitasking and problem solving skills,
- Excellent customer service/communication skills,
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude,
- Overtime as required,
- Experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, power jack to load trailers.
