Customer Success Manager - Healthcare Risk Adjustment

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Customer Success Manager - Healthcare Risk Adjustment based in the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity to build strategic relationships with healthcare organizations while driving the successful adoption of innovative risk adjustment technology. In this customer-facing role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients achieve business goals, navigate complex regulatory requirements, and maximize the value of their healthcare solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will oversee customer success initiatives, manage high-impact projects, and identify opportunities for account growth and long-term partnerships. The position is ideal for professionals with expertise in healthcare risk adjustment, customer success, and value-based care who enjoy combining strategic thinking with exceptional relationship management.

Accountabilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of healthcare customers, building long-term executive relationships and ensuring successful adoption of healthcare risk adjustment solutions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business objectives, workflows, operational challenges, and regulatory requirements to provide strategic guidance and maximize value.
  • Partner closely with operations, product, engineering, analytics, and other internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes and resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Monitor customer health, service level agreements, reporting metrics, and project milestones while proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Provide consultative support by sharing best practices, driving platform adoption, encouraging renewals, and identifying opportunities for account expansion and revenue growth.
  • Lead customer meetings, executive business reviews, status updates, and project communications while presenting performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage escalations by coordinating cross-functional resolution efforts and ensuring critical issues are addressed in alignment with customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate customer success plans, project documentation, and account activities using customer success management tools while contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within a health plan, healthcare technology, healthcare consulting, or customer-facing vendor management role focused on healthcare risk adjustment.
  • At least 2 years of direct experience supporting HHS RADV Initial Validation Audit programs or similar healthcare regulatory initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare risk adjustment, CMS regulations, value-based care, and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Proven customer success, account management, or client relationship management experience within a SaaS or healthcare technology environment.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple customer initiatives, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience interpreting reports, identifying trends, monitoring KPIs, and developing action plans.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive relationship management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, along with experience using customer success platforms such as Gainsight or similar CRM/customer engagement tools.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
