Located in Big Sky, Montana, Lone Mountain Ranch is a historic guest ranch situated on 148 acres in the heart of the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. About the Role
The Room Attendant at Lone Mountain Ranch plays an essential role in creating a warm, comfortable, and memorable guest experience. More than housekeeping, this position helps shape the atmosphere and feeling guests experience throughout their stay by maintaining beautifully cared-for cabins and inviting public spaces across the Ranch.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the small details, and enjoys contributing to a team-focused hospitality environment. Room Attendants work closely with Housekeeping, Front Desk, Maintenance, and other departments to help ensure every guest space feels welcoming, clean, organized, and thoughtfully prepared.
What You’ll Do- Clean and service guest cabins and public spaces to Ranch standards
- Complete stayover, departure, and turndown services with attention to detail
- Change linens, replenish amenities, and restock cabin refreshments
- Help maintain clean and organized common areas, offices, bathrooms, restaurants, and the Outpost
- Inspect cabins to ensure readiness and overall presentation before guest arrival
- Communicate maintenance or repair needs proactively to the appropriate teams
- Assist with laundry operations and linen organization as needed
- Provide friendly and professional interactions with guests and coworkers
- Support overall Ranch operations while contributing to a positive and team-oriented environment
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organized spaces
- Friendly, professional communication skills and a hospitality-focused mindset
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain during the season
- Physical ability to bend, lift, stand, and remain active throughout the workday
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
