Assisting with daily living activities.

Leading patients in educational and recreational activities.

Accompanying patients to and from examinations and treatments.

Restraining violent patients.

Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.

Reminding patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.

Noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints or physical symptoms to nurses.

Staying up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure.

Remarks:

The client will not be looking at any candidate that has RTO as they will be our cover for the floor this summer.

They just had two C.N.A needs open up. The needs currently have been listed below:

One will be mainly on evenings (2pm10:30pm) and the other will mainly be on NOCs (10pm6:30am) and mainly as the shifts may change very quickly so they will need to be willing to work any if required to.

We require this CNA to have 5 years of Long-Term Care experience with at least one of those years in a Dementia care setting, a team player and willing to take initiative when asked. They will need a car to get around as our area does not have good public transportation.

We are looking for them to start ASAP and the contract length will be for a full 13 weeks.
