About The Role
As a Night Auditor in our Front Desk department, you will be the primary overnight point of contact for guests, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment throughout the weekend night shift. This hourly, part-time position is scheduled for Friday and Saturday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and combines front desk guest service, light food and beverage service, and basic administrative tasks. You will support late check-ins, early check-outs, and guest inquiries while also assisting with bar service and preparing breakfast items so that guests start their day on a positive note.
What You'll Do
- Provide friendly, professional service to all guests during overnight hours, including check-in, check-out, and general inquiries
- Greet guests upon arrival, confirm reservations, verify payment methods, and issue room keys accurately and efficiently
- Handle guest departures, including processing payments, resolving billing questions, and closing out folios
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, addressing guest questions and routing calls as needed
- Monitor the lobby and front desk areas, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the night
- Serve guests at the bar in compliance with property standards and applicable alcohol service regulations
- Assist with setting up breakfast items in the morning, ensuring food areas are stocked, clean, and presentable
- Respond to guest requests and concerns, escalating issues to management or appropriate staff when necessary
- Follow all safety, security, and emergency procedures during the overnight shift
- Complete basic end-of-day or shift reports and documentation as directed by front desk or accounting procedures
Qualifications
- Prior customer service or front desk experience in hospitality or a related field preferred
- Ability to work overnight weekend shifts on Friday and Saturday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English and a professional, courteous demeanor with guests and colleagues
- Comfortable handling cash, credit card transactions, and basic point-of-sale or hotel management systems (training provided)
- Ability to learn and follow standard operating procedures, including safety, security, and alcohol service guidelines
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing light physical tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and setting up breakfast items
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
The pay range for this role is:
16 - 18 USD per hour(Hyatt Place Lincoln)
