Linen Cart Attendant in San Antonio, Texas at University Health System- San Antonio

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs tasks, mainly physical in character, requiring the handling of clean and soiled laundry and the loading, unloading and pushing of wheeled hampers or carts, either empty or loaded, from place to place for University Health . Performs duties and assignments completely, efficiently and timely. Complies with Health and Laundry Department policies, procedures and regulations. Ensures proper care and use of equipment and supplies. Maintains good guest and working relations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Completion of sixth grade or its equivalency is required. High school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. At least six months experience in hospital laundries is preferred.
