Lead Surgical Coordinator in Brockton, Massachusetts at Signature Healthcare

Under the direction of the Practice Manager/Office Manager, with the physician’s order, books patient’s surgery with the operating rooms at each of 1-3 hospitals, and manages the surgical booking process from the pre-op to the post-op phase. Maintains departmental booking systems for all assigned providers simultaneously in addition also coordinates multiple schedules, approvals for procedures and documentation process for multiple surgeons from collaborating affiliate hospitals while they are at SHC. Answers and screens all telephone calls, and responds to all messages with appropriate follow through. Oversees the activities of the Surgical Coordinators. High School graduate or equivalent required. Previous Surgical Booking experience preferred.
