Position Summary

We are seeking a high-performing HCM Sales Leader to drive revenue growth, lead strategic sales initiatives, and expand market share across our Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions portfolio that AccuSourceHR is going to market with in H2 2026 and early 2027. This individual will initially be in a player/coach role and will (eventually) lead a team of sales professionals responsible for selling HCM technology and services; including payroll, HRIS, workforce management, talent acquisition, benefits administration, compliance, and employee experience solutions.

The ideal candidate combines deep HCM industry expertise with a proven track record of building and scaling SMB and mid-market sales organizations. They will partner closely with marketing, Product, Customer Success, and executive leadership to achieve aggressive growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Leadership

  • Develop and execute the overall HCM sales strategy to achieve annual revenue and growth targets.
  • Drive net-new business acquisition while expanding existing client relationships.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast accuracy across all segments.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and competitive trends within the HCM landscape.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top-performing HCM sales talent.
  • Coach sales managers and individual contributors through structured performance management.
  • Establish sales methodologies, KPIs, and best practices to improve conversion rates and productivity.
  • Foster a high-performance, accountability-driven sales culture.

Enterprise & Strategic Selling

  • Personally engage in executive-level sales opportunities and key account negotiations.
  • Develop relationships with C-suite executives, CHROs, HR leaders, CFOs, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting through contract execution.
  • Collaborate with solution consultants to create compelling business cases and ROI analyses.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing to optimize lead generation and demand creation strategies.
  • Work closely with product teams to communicate customer feedback and market requirements.
  • Coordinate with implementation and customer success teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and retention.
  • Collaborate with channel, alliance, and referral partners to drive indirect revenue opportunities.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Monitor sales performance metrics, pipeline health, and forecast attainment.
  • Present regular business reviews to executive leadership.
  • Utilize CRM and sales analytics tools to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Develop territory plans and resource allocation strategies.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field.
  • 8+ years of successful B2B sales experience.
  • 5+ years leading sales teams within HCM, HR technology, payroll, workforce management, benefits, or related SaaS industries.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding quota and leading teams to achieve revenue targets.
  • Experience selling into SMB and Mid-Market organizations.
  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills.
  • Expertise with consultative and value-based selling methodologies.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and sales enablement technologies.

Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary: $125k
  • Eligible for company commission plan
  • Performance bonuses and leadership incentives
