Laundry Attendant - Seasonal in Costa Mesa, California at Beachview Rentals, Inc

We are seeking a Seasonal Laundry Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for managing the complete laundry cycle to ensure our rental properties are stocked with clean, well-maintained linens and towels. This position supports our Quality Control team. This position is open for immediate hire and will end mid to late September.

Responsibilities:

• Process all laundry items including bed linens, towels, and other textiles from sorting, stain removal, washing, drying and folding
• Sort items by fabric type, color, and washing requirements
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers efficiently
• Fold all items according to company standards
• Organize and stock clean laundry in designated storage areas
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear and handle accordingly
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and report when restocking is needed
• Adhere to cleaning schedules to ensure timely turnovers
• Keep laundry facilities clean and organized
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
• Follow proper lifting
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to bend and lift
• Ability to use company Apps on smart phone
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Basic organizational skills
• Reliable and punctual with good time management
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Physical ability to push and pull up to 40 lbs
