MDB Health Services is hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric care and psychotropic medication management to residents of long-term care facilities in the Fayetteville, Arkansas area.

Position details
  • Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas
  • Employment type: Part-time
  • Schedule: Standard business hours
  • Work setting: Long-term care facilities
Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs
  • Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychotropic medications
  • Collaborate with facility staff and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with applicable standards
  • Educate and support patients and families regarding mental health conditions and treatment plans
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives when applicable
Required qualifications
  • Master’s degree in nursing with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health nursing, or an equivalent qualification
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license valid for practice in Arkansas
  • Additional required credentials: AANP/ ANCC and DEA license required
Preferred qualification
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation practices and occupational health principles
