ABOUT THE ROLE
As Manager, AI and Automation, you will lead a team of developers and analysts building advanced automation, application, and AI solutions that integrate with our collections platform and scale across the firm. This is a high-visibility role that works closely with the executive team—backed by the resources, executive sponsorship, and decision-making authority to drive meaningful transformation.
You’ll own and execute a 2–3 year automation roadmap—using automation and AI to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce operational costs—while helping shape the firm’s long-term technology strategy. Success here calls for both strategic vision and hands-on technical execution, ensuring every solution is tied to a clear, measurable business outcome. If you want ownership, autonomy, and the chance to be a first mover in your industry, this is that role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software developers and analysts—including hiring and upskilling—to deliver scalable
automation and AI solutions across the firm.
• Own the end-to-end automation lifecycle: discovery, solution design, development, testing, deployment, support, and
documentation.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable workflows, custom connectors, applications, and integrations using SQL, Python,
JavaScript, PowerShell, React, C#, and Azure (or comparable) technologies.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical automation and AI solutions
tied to measurable outcomes.
• Develop algorithms and predictive models, and analyze structured and unstructured data to solve complex business
challenges.
• Integrate AI/ML models into larger systems, including cloud infrastructure, software applications, and data platforms.
• Build and maintain the data pipelines and queries that power automations, BI dashboards, and reporting.
• Oversee the firm’s library of BI dashboards and reporting—both client-facing and internal—spanning forecast, financial,
performance, and portfolio-trend analytics.
• Monitor and optimize automation, intelligent document processing, and AI model performance, manage exceptions, and
ensure high availability through logging and dashboards.
• Establish automation best practices, governance, procedures, and reusable components.
• Stay current with advances in GenAI, ML, MLOps, and LLMOps, applying new techniques to strengthen the firm’s
technology stack.
• Perform other duties as assigned at the manager’s discretion.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING (REQUIRED)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field—or equivalent experience
on a year-for-year basis.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience delivering automation solutions across modern tech stacks and
management experience for a development team.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with working proficiency in JavaScript, React, and C#.
• Demonstrated experience implementing automations and production machine learning systems.
• Solid grasp of AI/ML fundamentals—classical ML, deep learning, and LLMs—along with the supporting mathematics,
statistics, and data-handling concepts.
• Minimum 2 years using a major cloud platform (Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform), including integrating AI/ML
models with cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization (e.g., Docker), CI/CD, and Agile delivery.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-
technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder-management, organizational, and time-management skills, plus the business
acumen to connect technical work to business value.
• Spoken and written fluency in English.
NICE TO HAVE (PREFERRED)
• Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Computer Science, AI/ML, or Data Science.
• 2+ years focused on AI/ML engineering or data science, with an emphasis on GenAI and ML.
• Proven expertise with intelligent document processing, GenAI, and LLM-based solutions.
• Experience with any advanced collections / debt-recovery platform.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as n8n, Power Automate, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Hugging Face,
LangChain, Prefect, Azure Document Intelligence, OpenCV, NLTK, and spaCy.
LOCATION, SCHEDULE & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• On-site role based in Plantation, Florida.
• Monday–Friday, with a choice of shifts: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.
• Standard professional office environment with no significant physical demands (no operation of tools or machinery; no
significant lifting).
BENEFITS
• Paid time off and paid holidays; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, vision, and supplemental health insurance; and a voluntary
life insurance plan.
